The Flirty Bag – A Review

I am so happy to be writing about another great bag pattern. The Flirty bag by Ladybugs & Daisy Chains was such a fun and easy sew.

It’s quite a unique shape with a cute pleats detail and i love it can really make the fabric stand out! I chose the What a Gem fabrics by Allison cole i had left over to create this and the design made the geometric coral fabric really pop and bring out the colours in the blue gem fabric.

I also used the coral for the band lining piece so that it would stand out while using it and a matching solid blue for the lining. What i found really great about this pattern was the instructions and a different way (for me at least) to do the zippered pocket inside. I love learning new things! I didn’t make the slip pocket as i never really use slip pockets but 2 pockets in a bag can be handy!

The instructions were very clear and well written. This is totally beginner friendly even with the zippered pocket. I Changed the straps to be only 1 inch wide only due to lack of fabric but i find it suited it really well because it’s a smaller bag. Although it is a small bag, i was surprised at all the stuff i could fit in! I can’t wait to use this bag on weekends at the markets, it’s where i show off all my bags!

Flirty bag review

This is cute, something different and fast! It took me 2 hours while still taking breaking to keep the kids happy.
