I am not sure if anyone noticed but i gave myself a slow June and July to get my sewing projects done, to spend time with the kids and generally slow down.
I took it easy and didn’t do much work and didn’t have much to blog about in June, in July i did a bit more and thought it best to combine the catch up.

The last two weeks i went through each of my sewing patterns and updated the layout of them.
The biggest news is that i have a new sewing machine! The Juki 2200 mini has come to sit on my sewing desk right next to the brother NS55. I am loving the knee lift, the auto cutter, the amazing box feed and she sews like a dream! This machine was so easy to set up, the tension is fantastic and it came with some great feet. I have already bought more bobbins, some more needles and a teflon foot.
In the Lorelei Jayne Pattern Facebook group we have been having a Lori Pouch swap. The Ladies are loving their new Lori Pouches and some gave a few extra goodies, it has brightened up July for sure and as the Lori Pouches continue to arrive it will be amazing to see the beautiful pouches people have made. Another swap will be starting this month, head over to the Lorelei Jayne Pattern Facebook group
Check out some of the sewing projects i have finished in June and July. Further photos of projects and my fabric hauls are on instagram
