This months sewing challenge was a great excuse to be creative an create gifts for my friends that i think they will love.
I used the large flat pouch pattern to make 3 quilted pouches. I attached fusible fleece to the wrong side of the exterior pieces. I quilted each pouch differently to practice my quilting.
I thought about what i needed when i first started embroidery and cross stitch. The items i purchased were the embroidery thread pack, needles, hoop and tiny embroidery scissors. I reused glue stick refill containers to hold the needles.
The scissors are quite sharp so i created a quick easy pouch to hold them. I used my Bubble Bobbin SVG to create bobbins for them to wind the threads on to and used my thread organiser SVG file to create some to keep the threads organised.
I will print out a design and use a frixon pen to transfer onto some calico for each pouch. This was a good gift idea to use up some scraps of fabric and card with inexpensive items. or craft items you already have.
